Did you know our reusable shoe covers can reduce climate impact by up to 62% compared to single-use alternatives when used over 500 times?
We explored this through a life cycle assessment carried out together with LCA specialist kimia gholamian, looking at the full journey of the product, from production and transport to use and end-of-life.
One of the most important findings was that the biggest environmental impact doesn't come from production, it comes from the user stage. Washing accounts for the majority of energy and water use, which means that how the product is used really matters. That's also why we're putting a lot of focus on improving our care and washing guidance, helping our customers reduce impact even further in everyday use.
For workplaces, these findings mean that switching to reusable solutions can reduce environmental impact in a measurable way, while still being practical in everyday operations.
For us, sustainability is not just about making statements. It's about understanding our impact across the full life cycle, so we can identify where to improve and make better choices over time.
