hej! we’re Björney and Scott - friends, neighbours and founders of reCovers
the idea for reCovers came to life on a rainy day at preschool pick-up, when we saw the floors covered in single-use plastic shoe covers.
we promised our kids we’d try to fix the problem, and a few weeks later, reCovers was born.
what started as a small idea soon became a purpose: to replace disposable plastic products with reusable alternatives made from existing high-quality materials.
our first step was creating durable, washable shoe covers from leftover rainwear fabrics. today, our range also includes products such as backpack rain covers and bike seat covers, made from carefully selected leftover textiles.
reCovers is designed in Gothenburg and produced in Sweden in collaboration with local production partners.
by giving high-quality leftover materials a new purpose, we help reduce textile waste and support more circular ways of making and using products.
our mission is simple:
to make more sustainable choices easy, functional and part of everyday life.
we believe in design that lasts, products that can be repaired and reused, and production that respects both people and the planet.
