hi! we’re Björney and Scott - friends, neighbours, and founders of reCovers

the idea for reCovers came to life on a rainy day at preschool pick-up, when we saw the floors covered in single-use plastic blue shoe covers

we promised our kids we’d fix this problem - and a few weeks later, reCovers was born

what started as a small idea soon became a purpose: to replace disposable plastic products with reusable ones made from upcycled materials

our first step was creating durable, washable shoe covers from leftover rainwear fabrics - and today, our range also includes other products, like backpack and bike-seat covers, made from the same locally sourced, upcycled textiles

each reCovers product is handmade in Gothenburg, Sweden, with care and intention

by giving new life to high-quality leftover materials, we help reduce textile waste and support local, circular production

our mission is simple:
to make sustainable choices easy, functional, and part of everyday life

we believe in design that lasts, products that can be repaired and reused, and production that respects both people and the planet
