pilot partner spotlight: Green City Farming | reCovers rental pilot

we’re continuing to introduce the workplaces taking part in our rental pilot for reusable shoe covers - businesses helping us test, learn, and improve a more circular alternative to single-use plastic in real, everyday environments.

next up is Green City Farming, a Gothenburg-based indoor farming company developing vertical farming solutions with a strong focus on sustainability and resource efficiency. their R&D centre regularly welcomes visitors who want to learn more about the future of urban farming.

Green City Farming joined the recovers pilot to collaborate with like-minded startups in Västra Götaland that care about their impact, and to contribute real-world insights that help us shape our rental model for reusable shoe covers.

moving away from single-use plastics is a natural step for Green City Farming, as disposable solutions don’t align with their goals or vision as a sustainability-focused company.

for them, the pilot is also about the visitor experience, making values visible in everyday operations and clearly signalling a commitment to circular choices.

we’re grateful to be running this pilot together and to learn from Green City Farming’s experience along the way ♻️
