we’re happy to start introducing the workplaces taking part in our rental pilot for reusable shoe covers - businesses helping us test, learn, and improve a more circular alternative to single-use plastic in real, everyday environments.
first up is Strå Hair & Barber, a modern hair and barber salon in Gothenburg, run by Michaela and Sofia. since opening their salon in 2016, Strå has focused on quality, craftsmanship, and creating a welcoming experience for their customers.
Strå joined the recovers pilot to support an initiative they believe in and to reduce single-use plastic where it makes sense in everyday salon work. in a hair salon environment where plastic bottles and chemicals are already part of daily routines, small changes matter.
for Strå, the pilot is also about practicality - less dirt in the salon, less cleaning, and an easier workday overall.
