we’re continuing to introduce the workplaces taking part in our rental pilot for reusable shoe covers - businesses helping us test, learn, and improve a more circular alternative to single-use plastic in real, everyday environments.
next up is Västia Parkering, a Gothenburg-based parking company offering modern and digital parking solutions for property owners, housing associations, and businesses. their work is built around creating clear, professional, and user-friendly environments for visitors and customers.
Västia Parkering joined the recovers pilot to find a better solution for visitors to their office space. they have long tried to phase out blue disposable shoe covers, but asking guests to remove their shoes or change into indoor slippers hasn’t worked well in practice.
for Västia Parkering, reusable shoe covers are a better option for their visitors, and through the pilot, they are now testing this in real, everyday use.
reducing single-use plastic matters to Västia Parkering because disposable plastic is often used for a very short time, yet remains in nature for hundreds of years, contributing to long-term environmental impact.
we’re grateful to be running this pilot together and to learn from Västia Parkering’s experience along the way ♻️
